. steve, the weather changing any? >> yes, it is. mondays high today 58 to 64 but that is not the bigger story. it will be the cloud cover finally working its way in here. pretty decent system right there. its tapped in moisture right there near hawaii. today we start off with patchy fog but very, very cool readings. 39 for napa. now a lot of 40s. livermore looking at 44 degrees. we will go for 63. 62 by 2:00. it will be cloudy. it cloud up here early in the afternoon. temperatures will definitely start total. san francisco not much different. 58 for a high today. it will start off with a little bit of sun but then it will get cloudy. increasing clouds. a little bit of patchy fog. generally some sun in the morning and clouds in the afternoon. rain by late this afternoon and leavening. rain to the north. highs today 50s and 60s and getting cloudy. here is sal. >>> steve, we are looking at the commute and for the most port it is nice. we do have that one major problem. let's start off with the toll plaza first. the traffic will be looking okay if you are driving approaching the toll plaza.

light rain out there, sal of course watching the roads for you, but first let's start with steve pallson, what do you see? >> i see a little bit of rain towards santa rosa and the russian river. otherwise it's cloudy. most locations say cloudy, a little bit of rain, some of it not showing up on the radar. it's below the radar beam and we'll continue to see just -- forestville has picked up 15/100 and santa rosa a tenth in 24 hours. it's a little bit. there is good rain to the north. it's definitely up towards the northern part of the state and there's a good stream of moisture taking aim at us today. a lot of that has to work its way in. favor the north bay maybe for the morning even though that's not much. you can see this cloud cover streaming in. later on for the morning commute, most people will not get rain on them. 50s on the temps and i don't expect those to change at all. there's plenty of moisture moving in. i wish there was a little more forcing or lift in the atmosphere, that would help, but north, yes, you get some rain. otherwise south bay may have to wait a long, long time.

and traffic. but first let's go to steve. >> pam, dave, thank you. a clear morning. not much of a breeze. there is a hint of an offshore breeze. oakland and san francisco is looking good. fog is coming down the coast. its trying. this morning we have clear skies. cold for some. 50s parts of san francisco already. sunny for all. and maybe a little warmer for a few. not a lot. 30s and 40s and 50s. 54 san francisco. santa rosa at 39. a lot of 40s. i don't expect these to get too much colder. its already very mild san francisco. i've seen an easterly breeze out around the sunset district. also around san francisco state. as long as that holds we will go 72 for a high today. big change for a weekend will be a system sweeping through. it won't give us much expect for a wind event. today cold lows inland. fog near the coast. i don't think it will do much. that means 70s for anybody. >> steve, good morning. we are starting off the morning well expect for that problem we told you about. but first let's take a look at the other commutes. the bay bridge that looks good if you are trying to get into

cook. >> and good morning, i'm dave clark. let's check weather and traffic. steve how does it look? >> it looks clear and cold for some. a little breezy for others. rate be sunny today -- it will be sunny today. clear. there is any huge difference in some of the lows here. clear and cold, breezy. sunshine today. it will be breezy at times but some of the higher elevations as well about 20-30 miles an hour. about 15-20 out to the valley. temperatures 53 antioch. 33 santa rosa. so huge spread here. redwood city 40. san jose 43. livermore 41. concord has tipped to -- has dipped to 39. we'll have a high of 64 degrees. temperatures will be reflective of a little bit of a north breeze but again its tough to get above 70-72 this time of year. sunny, breezy. northerly breeze. but temperatures upper 50s and low 60s. a lot of upper 50s to low 70s. >>> we are looking at a commute on a monday that is easing into the main part of it. we don't have a lot to talk about which is good. this is a look at the east shore freeway. of course we watch it very closely because when it changes it happens ve

day. i'm tori campbell. >> i'm dave clark. we're gonna check weather and traffic. >>> steve, how are we looking? >> foggy. some higher clouds up to lake county. low clouds will be with us at noon. high clouds, turning mostly cloudy. the big news are definitely the low clouds and the fog. a lot of tropical clouds on their way but they are taking more of an aim towards seattle and portland, maybe you can smell some of that smoke from the scrap yard fire. had reports in fremont, oakland, palo alto, menlo park, seems to be decreasing. napa, 39. there's a lot of 40s here. even 55 oakland. 54 san francisco. mostly cloudy here in the morning. kind of a mild start. due east wind. almost everybody has a due east wind and kind of a mild pattern in the hills. i've seen 56 to a 9. high pressure is still over us. some of these higher clouds will drift through. overall, morning fog, then high clouds. kind of a mix of sunday and clouds. and then turning cloudy. combination will give us a mixed pattern. here's sal. >>> we've had problems this early commute. we've had a crash in san francisco. we

your weather and traffic. steve knows the forecast. >>> a lot of fog and reports coming in. thank you for the twitter updates. fog forming in livermore. the east bay was excluded earlier from the frost advisory, but i will throw it in there just because. a lot of high clouds. not only here but all over. the big news is dense fog advisories until 9:00. again, the fog is forming in the east bay. there is really thick fog from santa rosa to oakland to san jose. some areas don't have any, but others it is like a wall of fog. we get a lot of areas with dense fog. fog near the coast. hazy skies today. a little cooler. 40s and 50s on these temps now. some of the inland areas unseasonal warm yesterday will continue to warm up. most location will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s today. you can see the bands of higher clouds. a beautiful sunrise. mostly sunny here, partly cloudy to the north. morning fog and the frost advisory until 9:00. 60s to low 70s, and low 60s closer to the water. >>> westbound 08 traffic will be busy. let's start a look at the bay bridge toll plaza, backed one a 2
